Worship Services

Our God and Lord Jesus Christ is worthy to be praised for He is the Creator and Savior of all.

Sunday Worship Service:

The Sunday Worship Service is the highlight of the week. God’s people meet every week to worship Him and hear His Word. The goal of each and every service is the edifying of the saints and the saving of lost souls. We invite you to join us in worshiping our God and Savior Jesus Christ, for He is truly worthy to be praised.

Sunday Evening Service:

The Sunday Evening Service builds upon the Sunday morning Worship Service. God’s people join together and sing praises unto the Lord and listen to the preaching of the Word. Like every other service, the members and families of the church fellowship with each other before and after the service. Frequently the youth of the church meet after the service for a fun filled time of food, activites, and fellowship.

Mid-Week Service:

The Mid-Week Service takes place every Wednesday. This service has more of a focus on prayer, singing, and Bible study than our other services. It is the perfect time to recharge and draw closer to your family and your God. During the school year, children k5 through 6th grade meet for Patch the Pirate and PeeWee Club.

Children’s Ministries

Children are the future are they not? We believe in raising up the next generation in the ways of Christ so that they will be prepared to take up the torch and win their generation for Christ.

We have Sunday School classes for every age group and on Wednesday evenings during the school year we have our Patch the Pirate and PeeWee Club for children k5 through 6th grade.

During the Sunday Worship service, the younger children attend Children’s Church. All children 4th grade and younger may attend.

Teen’s Ministries

We have exciting weekly activities and Sunday School classes to help our teens achieve these goals. Fun and fellowship are important parts of each activity. It provides them with the opportunity to build lasting friendships in a Christ-centered environment. Most importantly, teen activities are times of learning and changing through the preaching of God’s Word. It is our hope you will join us and grow with us!

Adult Sunday School Classes

Classes that encourage your soul, strengthen your faith, and increase your knowledge of Biblical principles. We offer several topic based adult classes to choose from.

Neighborhood Bible Time

Neighborhood Bible Time is an outreach to your Jerusalem mission field – the children, teens, and families in the vicinity of your church. Our vision is to reach youth, the most responsive mission field of today. We desire to open the doors of their homes to the saving Gospel of Jesus Christ. Your entire church family will partner with NBT to accomplish this outreach through sincere prayer, love for the lost, and personal sacrifice.

Two trained NBT Evangelists will give twelve to fourteen hours each day to lead your church’s rally for souls. The Evangelists use the Bible as their textbook. During the rally they will lead the children in reading, singing, and memorizing the Word of God. The children will experience praying, soul winning, and powerful preaching. Each day they will be able to flood their homes with the good news of the Gospel through their take-home Bible lessons, daily gifts, Scripture memory, and singing.

The teens will gather each evening for competitive games, skits, and food. The center of the teen rally is the preaching of God’s Word. Every message clearly challenges the teens through Christ-centered preaching on salvation, holy living, and living the dedicated life. Teens are challenged to memorize Scripture and bring friends and neighborhood teens each night.

The combined dedication and teamwork of the two young men and your people will change your church and local Jerusalem mission field. Neighborhood Bible Time is a spirit-filled youth outreach that will create community awareness, goodwill, and a sincere response to the Gospel.

Missions

Missions is another important part in fulfilling the Great Commission. We support several missionaries so that we may help reach the “uttermost part of the world.”

Nursery Ministry

We provide child care during each of our regularly scheduled services, Sunday School, and during our revival and missions conference services.

You can rest at ease and enjoy the service knowing that your child has the best care possible provided for them. Our facilities are top notch and always clean.

Bus Ministry

The Bus Ministry has always been a major ministry at Westside Baptist Church. Every week for decades buses have gone out from the Church on Sunday mornings to pick children up for Church. Each week hundreds of children ride our buses to church and to listen to God’s Word being taught.

Christian School

Westside Baptist Academy is a ministry of Westside Baptist Church. Our main purpose is to help Christian parents train their children by providing quality academics and consistent character training in a supportive environment.
